Sleepovers at famous New York institutions (like the Intrepid!) are fun and exciting trips for Girl Scouts, whether it’s an annual tradition or a new adventure. These trips can often be a little pricey, so consider talking to your troop about their cookie goals and aim for an overnight!

Your troop can “Sleep with the Fishes” at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT! Girls will participate in fun activities while learning all about aquatic animals. This overnight is hosted by the GSGNY Queens Program Committee, check out the details on the event flyer!

The Intrepid Museum allows girls to explore the flight deck and enjoy the planetarium during Operation Slumber!

Discover the secrets of science at NYSCI as girls enjoy 450 hands-on exhibits and a 3D theater show, complete with milk and cookies!

Get an up close look at the unforgettable nature exhibits, Hayden Planetarium Space Show, and 3D Volcano film at the American Museum of Natural History. Dates sell out fast, so be sure to book this one soon!

Kopernik Observatory and Science Center offers STEM badge and petal programs for Daisy through Senior Girl Scouts at their observatory in Vestal, NY. To plan your Girl Scout sleepover, email GirlScouts@kopernik.org.
